God’s Love – Part 1

God’s Love – Part 1

Trigger Alert, in this post I’m going to be talking about God! It’s taken me some time to get comfortable with that term.

I also at times, refer to God as The Universe, Source, Great Mystery, All That Is or Creator. However, in this post I’m going to be using the term God throughout for simplicity. I will also for simplicity be referring to God as he, even though God does not have a Gender.

Recently, my Guides have been teaching me about God’s love for us. Here’s a quick summary …

God loves us unconditionally. This unconditional love is hard for us humans to wrap our heads around.

God understands that we are going to make mistakes and mess up. God understands that being a human is difficult. God does not hold it against us or punish us. When we mess up, we don’t even need to ask for his forgiveness because it’s not even an issue to him. We need to forgive ourselves though. We need to ask for God’s help and open up to his love.

God is always there waiting for us to return to him. The door is never closed.

God wants us to be happy.

God wants us to enjoy an abundant life.

God’s love has no strings attached.

God wants us to be free.

God wants us to let go of the burden of our wrong doings and related guilt.

God wants us to let go of all the wrong that was done to us and let go of all the pain.

God wants to help us in our lives with the big things and the small things.

God wants to help us co create a wonderful life and a wonderful world.

God wants us to ask him to be involved in our lives and to help us in every way.

There is no limit on the ways in which God can and will help us.

There is no limit on God’s love for us.

No matter how lost in the darkness of our pain we become, we are always welcome to turn back to God for help, healing and love. And even if we don’t remember that in this lifetime, or the next, we can still at any point in time, turn back and ask God for help. He will always be there for us.

Take care,

Margaret Smyth
